This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Royal craves not these things. He is reckless..... well, er, not exactly. Living/playing fast is not really James' thing. Tanning salons should be but I digress. If one sets aside, for a moment, his avant-garde wardrobe and edgy engine-less summer ride, one cannot but concede that James stands as one of the most focussed and reliable pillars in the Royals on-field set-up. Royals bedrock if you will. Whether he is plying his trade at the back or in the middle of the park, James never really has bad games. Indeed, on the contrary, he often plays a truly commanding role on the pitch, dispatching opponents with solar plexi-shattering shoulder charges that would make Vinnie Jones squirm and reigning majestically in the air. Defensively, James is rigorous in the mark and often exhibits good judgment. Offensively, James is blessed with good feet for a mid-to-big man and his vision and distribution are virtually always on song. Deeply committed, and a versatile and good all-around athlete, he will no doubt play an important part in any Royals successes over the coming year provided his weakness for hot tubs and small boys don't get him into trouble with the law.
